Life is gorgeous and mystical and gritty...

... And full of bills to pay and people to please and houses that get dusty as soon as you shut off the vacuum cleaner.

It’s easy in the daily hub-bub for your spiritual practices —the things you do to stay rooted, and whole, and sane— to fall through the cracks.

Especially if you can’t talk about things like intuition and inner-knowing with the people around you.

Many women tell me they have to hide their witchy ways.

But those “witchy ways” are a part of your power, your authentic Medicine. If you’re like me (and I suspect you are!), you’re doing this thing called life to explore and expand and make a difference. And to do that, you need to be present, engaged, and coming from a place of personal truth. Your internal well needs to be full.

Because when you lose your fire, your magic, your passion, and your roots, you lose your sense of purpose.

This is where the Medicine Keepers Collective comes in.

"For years I have been a searcher. Looking for connections. Looking for how my own story fits amid the mysteries and the magic of this world and universe in which we live. As such, I have explored a crazy broad range of spiritual highways and byways. I feel that this exploration, and the adaptation to my life, does not necessarily fit into a pigeon hole, nor should it. And as such, I found a home in Medicine Keepers because of the spirit behind the teachings."

Chris Fraser, Kingston, Ontario, Canada

We gather together to fill our cups, Expand our senses, and let magic in: We gather together to get (and stay!) lit.

If you’ve imagined a sacred circle that celebrates the moons and the turning seasons — you’re in the right place.

If you want rich conversations about premonitions and dreams, journeywork and earth medicine, or how difficult it is to meditate when the moon is full — you’ve found them.

If you’ve dreams of a group of uber-grounded, intellectually curious sisters who are as into modern physics as they are ancient sciences; if they need to love books, and getting their hands dirty, and lifting up the people around them — this is your tribe.

“I am finally coming into my own with my "witchy ways" through a lifetime of fighting them. Before Medicine Keeper’s I was fascinated with working with the elements and magic, for lack of a better term. In elementary school I would go out searching for books on magic and that sort of thing but people in my life at the time made me feel like I was weird and that I was wrong for being interested in it. Since then I’ve always felt a calling and interest in this work but I would just remember those experiences and push it away. Medicine Keeper’s has been everything and more that I've hoped for and was searching for, so again I really just wanted to say thank you for showing me that this calling is to be embraced and not hidden.”

Since we’re gonna be friends, let’s start with some real talk:

When I tell you I was apprenticed to a medicine woman in Ireland for a year, living in her home, making medicine from her gardens, and seeing clients both two-legged and four, you might get a little envious. You might think it sounds terribly romantic.

And it was. It was terrible and romantic, it was heart-wrenchingly beautiful and often soul-wrenchingly lonely. I learned so much from the forced silences, from spending days with only the wind and the crows and the sweet faces of dandelions for company.

That foundational year was priceless. It was the first of 7 years studying and learning from the plants, becoming the person who could teach at hospitals and universities and even in the jungles of Peru, as well as holding space for thousands of students and clients to step into this lineage.

I’ve gotta tell you, it hurts my heart when I talk to women who have found a bit of mystery only to slip back into Mundania, where folks around them weren’t supportive, or to women who lost a sense of self-trust after a lackluster class or retreat experience.

There’s a saying: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. My job is to teach your soul to fish.

In Ireland, they tell a tale in which a very ordinary salmon eats nine hazelnuts which had fallen into the well of wisdom. Those hazelnuts contained all the knowledge in the world. After ingesting this rich feast, the salmon was not so very ordinary any more.

The Salmon of Knowledge is the ultimate catch, the big kahuna. Spiritually this is what we’re all fishing for. So my job is not to hand you my wisdom (that would be like giving you a fish and feeding you for a day) but instead teach you to fish by connecting you to your own wisdom.

"Words cannot begin to express my love for this being nor my gratitude for the Universe bringing us together. Maia Toll is my friend, sister, oracle, healer, business coach and co-creator of magical mischief {and mischievous magic}. She embodies a rare combination of a massively compassionate and generous heart, an intolerance for BS, a ridiculously creative mind, a kick-ass business savvy, and an intuitive avatar with an uncanny ability to tune in and speak the voice of my soul's wisdom with impeccable timing."

Holly McCann, Boulder, Colorado

Like a lot of things in life, spirituality needs to be practiced. It’s not about learning once and moving on. It’s about repeating over and over 'til the contours of your soul begin to shift.

But this is where most people fall down. Instead of moving into deeper states of knowing, you skim the surface… over and over again. Especially if you’ve had a not-so-great experience with a teacher or on a retreat, you continue searching, hoping the next class or workshop will erase the aches from the last.

In The Medicine Keepers Collective you create rituals and practices which sing to your soul.

I want to ground you in practices which will always be there to help your soul rise to the surface so you can access your wisdom.

We bait the hook with your soul’s favorite nibbles: ritual and myth, medicines from the earth, and lessons from the stars.

Spirit needs a channel. You create that channel through conscious action. Here’s the secret: lots of teachers will try to convince you the channel they use is the only way in. But that’s just hubris.

There are many actions which let you channel spirit. For some, it’s running or ritual, for others meditation or meandering through the woods. Art, drumming, horseback riding, skiing, sailing… all can create a channel in which your spirit can rise to the surface where it can instruct and inspire you. You are your truth… and I’m here to hold up a mirror so you can see yourself.

How much time do I need to dedicate each month?

As much or as little time as you want. This membership program was designed specifically with the ebb and flows of life in mind, so you can work with just the main lesson for an entire season, deep dive into the lessons, community, and special events during your slow time, or any combination that works for you.

Is this group for women only?

Nope! What I teach is wisdom that's traveled down to us along the female lines. Whoever you are, if you're comfortable with this lineage, you're most welcome!

Are beginners welcome?

Absolutely! This community is one of the most supportive groups I've been honored to experience, and you'll find many willing new friends to discuss all kinds of new experiences. Do understand, however, that this is a community, not a class. We experience the mystic together but there is not much formal instruction.

What if I really despise Facebook?

Joining our private Facebook group is not a requirement, but it's a great place to build community.

What if Medicine Keepers Collective isn't working for me?

If you are on a monthly payment plan, try it for 3 days and if it's not for you, we'll refund your money. Easy-peasy. (Please note that all payments are non-refundable after day 3.)

If you are on the yearly payment plan, try it for 3 days and if it's not for you, we'll refund your money, no questions asked. We understand, however, that it may take you a bit longer to see if the year long program is a good fit. If you give it a solid try (because Medicine Keepers is all about doing the work, not just reading about it) and it's not feeling right, simply send us your completed weekly work (so we can see you've given it a shot), and we'll be glad to issue you a refund.

What happens when the price goes up?

As long as you're a member of the Medicine Keepers Collective, your price remains the same. If you leave and rejoin, you'll rejoin at current pricing.
